Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (Worker Welfare & Issues):

Act as the first point of contact for worker welfare, grievances, and disputes. Conduct welfare checks during site visits, including worker accommodation, facilities, and amenities. Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act, and other relevant labour regulations. Organize welfare activities and engagement programs to boost worker morale.

Health & Safety (HSE):

Develop and enforce workplace safety and health policies in line with OSHA 1994 and related regulations. Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits in Pahang, Perak, and Johor. Organize safety trainings, toolbox meetings, and emergency drills for workers. Investigate and report workplace incidents; recommend corrective actions. Liaise with DOSH and other regulatory authorities for compliance matters. Maintain safety documentation and records for audits and inspections. Promote a strong culture of safety and health awareness among employees.

Job Requirements

Education:

Diploma/Degree in HR Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field.

Certifications:

Knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.

Green Book (Safety & Health Officer certification)

is an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years in HR or worker welfare roles, with exposure to HSE practices. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to resolve worker issues fairly and tactfully. Willingness to

travel frequently to Pahang, Perak, and Johor

. Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel outstation. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (knowledge of other languages/dialects is a plus). Organized, proactive, and able to work independently.

Pay: RM3,069.54 - RM4,500.00 per month
