to lead and oversee our Human Resources and Administration functions. You will partner closely with business leaders to ensure that HR strategies, policies, and programs support business objectives, foster an engaging work culture, and drive organizational excellence. This role combines operational HR, strategic planning, compliance, and general administrative oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, selection, compensation benchmarking, offer drafting, and contract execution.
Conduct HR interviews for shortlisted candidates and provide expert hiring recommendations.
Lead and track onboarding programs for new employees, ensuring smooth integration and feedback collection.
Maintain and update job descriptions, position descriptions, and organizational charts.
2. Performance & Talent Management
Oversee performance management cycles, ensuring timely goal-setting, mid-year reviews, year-end appraisals, and regular performance discussions.
Support stakeholders in Talent and Organizational Review exercises, including succession planning, talent assessments, and organizational design initiatives.
Conduct Training Needs Analysis and develop annual training calendars; organize and facilitate training, coaching, and counseling programs.
Drive employee engagement initiatives, leadership development, and career progression programs.
3. HR Compliance & Industrial Relations
Review, create, and update HR policies, internal rules, procedures, and business conduct guidelines; ensure legal compliance and timely employee acknowledgment.
Ensure enforcement of company policies, workplace safety, and health guidelines.
Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and legal compliance issues as required.
Support labor audits, workers' council relations, and HR audits.
4. HR Business Partnering
Act as a strategic HR partner to assigned stakeholders, providing guidance on manpower planning, organizational changes, and HR policies.
Counsel managers and employees on performance, engagement, team dynamics, and employee relations.
Coordinate and lead HR communications and global compensation harmonization initiatives.
Drive culture, values, and organizational change initiatives.
5. Reporting & Budgeting
Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
Manage headcount and labor cost budgets for supported business units.
Analyze HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
6. Administration & Facilities Management
Oversee office administration, building and facilities maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Manage procurement, stationery, office supplies, utilities, and service vendors.
Lead and develop the administrative team for efficient operations.
Support management in company-wide events, initiatives, and corporate communications.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 8+ years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior HR role.
Strong hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Performance Management, Talent Management, Training & Development, and Change Management.
In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Employment Law and labor regulations.
Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and financial literacy.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams while driving HR initiatives strategically.
Preferred:
Experience in multinational companies or diverse industry sectors.
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent).
