Job Description

A new position, you will be responsible for the Organization's overall Human Resources Function, work and establish a close working relationship with business partners. Implements strategic and tactical action plans by participating in and/or leading business and organizational unit-wide projects as requested to meet the business and strategic needs of the business unit and/or organizational objective

  • Create an effective, efficient organisation where maximising performance and engagement is at the heart of every interaction in order to enhance capability and mitigate people-related risks
  • Develop an efficient, effective organisation, where maximising performance and engagement is central to all interactions in order to mitigate people-related risks and enhance capabilities
  • Ensure high performance and consistent deliver of the relevant people agendas within the business through building effective working relationships with relevant HR colleagues across the organisation.
  • Manage people processes (performance, reward, resourcing and talent) to ensure levels of capabilities and performance satisfy current and future requirements of the business
  • Develop the HR strategy and people priorities that enable sustainable performance and growth
  • Support, engage and coach relevant stakeholders in configuring and deploying people policies, processes and products processes
  • Develop talent to ensure a high quality succession pipeline at all levels and sponsor ongoing development activities that focus on the identified high performing and high potential individuals within the businesses.
  • Any other job assignments required by the immediate superior and/or the management from time to time.Take lead to on Industrial Relations / Employees' Relations support and manage industrial harmony on the shopfloor, building strong working relations with them too.
  • Foreign worker management - having a good supply of 3rd party agents.

  • Bachelor / Master qualification related discipline.
  • Between 10 to 15 years Human Resources generalist experience, with at least 5 years working in a manufacturing organization.
  • Ability to develop HR strategy for large scale, growing client accounts or projects.
  • Strong networking with Government bodies.
  • Experience with unionized environment, exposure in strong coaching experience with a good track record of concluding multiple collective agreements (Is preferred).
  • A high degree of business acumen including an understanding of the financial implications of HR services / solutions and how that subsequently impacts other business functions of the account.
  • Strong and clear communication skills, and to be able to adapt styles to project business confidence and presence in order to create a compelling vision.
