Human Resources (HR) at AstraZeneca is a global organisation that delivers global and local processes through a combined model of in-house delivery and partnerships with 3rd parties (via HR Centres of Excellence (CoEs), Business Partners and HR Operations). The Future of Work programme has been established to support a number of projects within AZ to ensure the organisation can optimally support our bold ambition. The role will support HR\xe2\x80\x99s end-to-end re-imagination and optimization of processes which will drive seamless experiences through simple solutions. The role will be part of the Process Optimization Workstream, reporting to the Workstream Lead. This will be a leadership role helping to drive partnership across FoW-HR workstreams, embedding agreed design principles across the workstreams, leading governance of design principles and ensuring the principles are reflected in the optimization of experiences/processes across workstreams, and delivering as a true thought partner and change agent.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Managing the relationships with markets at all levels to support identification and delivery of new process re-engineering opportunities
  • Support HR process optimization leads in process optimization workshops and take lead on market socialization, requirement gathering and testing approach.
  • Assist with the legal review & understanding change impacted markets
  • Support gathering of data that help to establish the baseline metrics and work with relevant global process owner to define To-Be process metrics.
  • Manage version control for process maps and coordinate with different markets, IT and project teams to finalize process maps.
  • Change management activities to guide/support business readiness for transition to go-live
  • Support adoption and sustainment through embedded change management and user experience
  • Close collaboration with other capability teams within GBS Process Solutions to help define and embed standardised approach for lean mindset/process optimisation \xe2\x80\x93 including standards, methodologies, tools and best practices
Essential requirements
  • Demonstrated experience of leading Medium profile projects / change management activities
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing & presentation/oral communication skills
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to discover and interpret business change requirements
  • Strong time management skills with ability to work at pace, handling multiple tasks & projects at one time
  • Thrives in a fast paced and evolving environment and is willing to adapt responsibilities to meet organisational strategic priorities
  • Comfortable with working virtually in a global environment
  • Willingness to undertake some domestic / international travel (as required)
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience of Workday, Service Now, RPA, Microsoft Power Platform or other automation implementation projects (i.e. Low Code automation, BPM, workflow tools)
  • Experience of working in Agile methodology & across global markets
