Job descriptionThis role requires to support the function in wide range of HR services but not limiting to staffing, compensation and development. Additionally, the HR Specialist also involved in contributing to developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, as well as providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and employees.

  • Support the function using the HR framework to attract and retain people
  • Support for internal stakeholders and employees directly on relevant HR related questions and interventions
  • Support in HR related administrative and operational duties
  • Participate and continuous improvement of HR processes in maintaining standard operating procedures and ensuring policies are up to date
  • Ensure that the store uses HR data to enable better management of all human resource related processes
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication across the organization, including company-wide announcements and regular check-ins
  • Contribute to fostering a positive work culture and maintaining high levels of employee morale and satisfaction
  • Administer the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) by entering and updating employee data and generating reports
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of employee engagement and motivation through effective leadership and HR practices
  • Support the store functions and ensure goals, actions are identified, communicated and followed up
Qualification
  • Experience in HR function, especially recruitment, compensation and benefits.
  • Good understanding of the IKEA culture & values.
  • Experience of working in an IKEA store.
  • Experience of working in a unit management role in the IKEA organisation with proven ability to be an ambassador for the IKEA values.
  • Ability to quickly gain and apply knowledge of the local market, business and labour conditions.
  • A considered decision-maker with the ability to influence management colleagues.
  • Ability to create a win-win situation when handling conflict situations.
  • Experience as a coach and/or mentor.
