HR Specialist (Maternity Cover)

A little bit about our team:

The People team is a key enabler at Warner Chappell Music of Warner Music Group and is focused on attracting, retaining and developing exceptional people, so they can be the best they can be and drive WCM\xe2\x80\x99s continued success in the marketplace. The team designs, implements and facilitates HR programs, including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Employee Engagement, Compensation and Benefits, and People Technology, to enable our leaders within the business. We collaborate with our business partners in the Asia Pacific region to support key organisational initiatives and are fiercely passionate about enhancing the employee experience!

Your role:

This is a 5-month contract role for maternity coverage and to support the Director, Human Resources, Asia Pacific, partner with our business, and drive the people agenda. Operating as a Human Resources Operation and Business Partner to designated local and regional client groups, primarily in our Malaysia office and other affiliates in the Asia Pacific region, providing support on HR operational tasks and issues, effectuating the delivery of our People strategy and informing and challenging senior management thinking. The role partners with specialist People teams to deliver people initiatives.

Here you\xe2\x80\x99ll get to:

• Provide full range of HR services including but not limited to talent acquisition, compensation and benefits administration, learning & development, employee relation and employee engagement related initiatives
• Perform and manage data processing in HRIS, ensure the data are accurately processed and maintained in the HRIS, conducting regular data audit in HRIS
• Perform full spectrum of compensation and benefits matters for the WCM offices in the Asia Pacific region
• Manage onboarding and offboarding cycles, including preparation of employment agreement, offer, orientation, exit interview
• Support the head of HR on day-to-day HR operations and management, including but not limited to workforce planning, organisational design and development, talent management and retention
• Support and advise business leaders and managers
• Management and execution of HR and operational matters in Malaysia office
• Provide support on office admin in the Malaysia Office
• Coordinate, plan and manage execution of company/office events
• Assist in human resources projects as and when required

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Working experience in HR generalist role

• Degree holder in Human Resources Management or relevant discipline
• Experience in talent acquisition and management is a plus
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese
• Strong knowledge of employment law and its application in Malaysia. Knowledge in other related ordinance/regulations for different region would be a plus
• Demonstrable experience of working in a fast-growing, rapidly changing environment

• Experience working within the music, tech or media industry, although certainly not essential
• Regional experience working with client groups spread across multiple countries in the Asia Pacific region
• Experience of HR systems (Workday)
