Job Description

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership in the Shared Services industry. This role focuses on aligning business objectives with human resources strategies to support organizational growth.

  • Strategic HR Partnering: Experienced in managing end-to-end HR business partnering activities, including stakeholder management, workforce planning, structural changes, and talent acquisition for senior-level roles (C4 and above).
  • Employee Relations & Talent Development: Skilled in handling complex employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and driving talent and organizational development programs such as succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Diversity & Inclusion Leadership: Actively champions diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • HR Operations Excellence: Strong track record in managing payroll, benefits administration, HRIS (Workday, Ignite, Citibank portal), and full employee lifecycle processes while ensuring compliance with statutory and internal policies.

A successful HRBP should have:
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HRBP roles within the Shared Services / GBS / COE.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Malaysia.
  • Proven ability to manage strategic HR initiatives and hands-on with job matrix development, organizational design, and day-to-day HR operations.
  • Experience in providing input and coordination with payroll vendors, as well as managing the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Strong track record of managing and influencing multiple local and regional stakeholders across various business units.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment, with the ability to remain flexible and adaptable.
