About our group:
Seagate Human Resources Information Technology (HRIT) team supports full life-cycle delivery and ongoing support of strategic technology initiatives primarily for the Human Resources business units.
About the role - you will:
Support integration development and web application development covering incident resolution and enhancement.
AI Strategy & Automation

• AI Exploration & Proof of Concept: Actively research and evaluate emerging AI, Generative AI, and Machine Learning (ML) technologies to identify opportunities for strategic application within the HR and IT landscapes.
• Develop AI-Driven Test Agents: Design and implement AI Agents and large language model (LLM) powered tools to enhance our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), specifically focusing on test case generation, automated regression testing, and quality assurance (QA) for integrated and web applications.
• Innovation & Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT and HR teams to transition successful AI prototypes and exploration findings into actionable, long-term development strategies.

Integration Development

• Manages data analysis and data integration of disparate systems.
• Works with IT application owners to identify requirements to satisfy business needs.
• Translates functional specifications into technical designs for implementation and deployment.
• Builds extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the business.
• Implements processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources.
• Optimizes data integration platform to provide optimal performance under increasing data volumes.
• Develops data integration standards according to the organization's information services policies as well as best practices.
• Conducts review of other integration developers' development efforts to ensure consistent methodologies are followed and to make recommendations where necessary.
• Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems in order to meet business solutions.
• Participates in incident resolution and/or problem analysis as L3

Web Application Development

• Develop and maintain Java or .NET web applications that meet the specifications
• Continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies in support of systems development efforts
• Communicate regularly with senior and executive management on matters concerning development issues and roll-outs

About you:
We're looking for a proactive, eager-to-learn individual who is ready to jump into both core IT systems and cutting-edge AI development.

• Well versed in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and methodology (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
• Demonstrated foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts and principles (e.g., neural networks, natural language processing).
• Proactive and forward-thinking attitude and creative problem-solving ability.

Your experience includes:

• Currently majoring in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field.
• Experience on web application development assignments will be an advantage.
