Job Description

• Safety Compliance: Assist on compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and laws. This includes OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations, environmental protection guidelines, and any industry-specific regulations.
• Risk Assessment: Assist the risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace or facility. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks and prevent accidents or incidents.
• Emergency Response Planning: Assist the development and update emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first-aid protocols, and communication strategies for various emergency situations, such as fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters.
• Incident Investigation: Assist investigate and analyze workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify the root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Safety Training: Assist plan, organize, and conduct safety training sessions for employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure that they are aware of and follow safety procedures.
• Environmental Management: Assist in monitor and manage environmental aspects of the facility, including waste disposal, air quality, and water management. Develop sustainability initiatives and track environmental performance.
• Facilities Management: Assist on oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including maintenance, repairs, and infrastructure improvements. Ensure that the facility is well-maintained and operates efficiently.
• Contractor Safety: Assist the evaluation and manage the safety performance of contractors working on-site. Ensure that contractors comply with safety standards and protocols.
• Safety Inspections and Audits: Assist in conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify safety hazards and non-compliance issues. Take corrective actions as necessary.
• Documentation and Reporting: Assist the maintenance of accurate records of safety and environmental data, incidents, inspections, and audits. Assist in preparation of reports for management and regulatory agencies as required.
• Hazard Communication: Assist in developing and implement hazard communication programs to ensure that employees are informed about the potential risks associated with their tasks and the chemicals they work with.
• Safety Culture Promotion: Assist in promotion of a strong safety culture within the organization, encouraging all employees to take responsibility for their own safety and the safety of their colleagues.
• Waste Management: Assist in management the proper disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Safety Equipment and PPE: Assist to ensure that safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are available, properly maintained, and used as required.
• Continuous Improvement: Assist to continuously assess and improve safety and environmental programs and processes to enhance the overall safety and sustainability of the organization.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with changing regulations and standards related to health, safety, and environmental matters and ensure the organization\'s compliance.
• Data Analysis: Assist to analyze safety and environmental data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance safety and sustainability practices.

The Individual

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in Facilities / HSE / Engineering

Experience:

• Fresh Graduate are encouraged to apply
• Candidate with experience will be an added advantage

Knowledge/Skills:

• Team Player with Positive Mindset
• Sound knowledge of HIRARC
• OSHA, FMA, UBBL compliance
• Familiar with AutoCAD & Microsoft Project Plan.
• Basic knowledge for with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel
• The ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
