Job Description

Client is a multinational PMC who is currently active in various data centre construction projects, hiring HSE Manager for overall delivery of data centre construction projects in Johor Bahru.

:

Ensure compliance by the site staff/subcontractors' workers with the Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) safety rules, regulations and requirements pertaining to health and safety matters at the work site. Providing assistance to supervision and workers in risk identification and job hazard analysis. Reporting all safety non-compliance to the Project Manager. Facilitating the site Safety Committee (and agenda), toolbox meeting topics and involvement of Safety and Health Representatives. Providing advice and support to the Project Manager for the implementation and auditing of the Health, Safety, Security & Environment Management Plan. Identifies needs for safety training and coordinates sessions/courses for site personnel. Monitoring compliance with the requirements as detailed in the Safety & Health Program. Monitoring compliance to specified procedures, safe work standards and statutory requirements. Implementing and communicating of compliance requirements for the company Safety Procedures and work standards/practices. Maintaining safety education and awareness levels that support effective Safety management. Liaise with relevant authorities who have jurisdiction on Occupational Safety, Health & Environment (eg. DOSH, DOE, CIDB Local Authorities etc. To lead accident investigation for any accident, occur at site and prepare accident report with all recommendations to prevent reoccurrences. Perform any other job/function that may be assigned by management.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years' experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) roles. Experience in data centre or industrial construction environments. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, compliance, and statutory requirements. Proven ability to manage site safety, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations. Excellent stakeholder and client management skills. Active Green Book Holder with DOSH - please provide license number in the application. Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and best practices. Ability to lead and implement HSE initiatives across project and construction teams
