Job Description

s:

Assisting and supporting the Plant Manager and the Management team to ensure that the Plant meets its legal requirements and corporate objectives in all safety and environmental aspects by undertaking regular audits, inspections, tests and assessments as required. Manage all aspects of health, safety and environment including fire safety and to co-ordinate and lead all integrated management system implementation and compliance. To carry out regular periodic audits of operational practice, Knauf Insulation procedures (both Group and local) involving and working collaboratively with key personnel and those responsible for compliance with such procedures and work instructions so that Operating Standards and personal accountability are continually reinforced. To lead or assist with risk assessments, accident and incident investigations so that hazards and unsafe practices are identified, cause of accidents and incidents is established, and remedial plans are put in place and the relevant teams implement the plan. To conduct in house health, safety & environment training so that all personnel are educated with statutory requirements and best practice and understand their personal responsibility to work in a safe manner at all times. Liaison as necessary with other organizations and relevant / local authorities (such as the DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, AELB, PBT). Responsible to maintain overall implementation and ISO certificate renewals for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001. Support in all other certification process done within the plant operation portfolio.
Job requirements:

Certified SHO Officer by DOSH Malaysia (Greenbook holder) At least 5 years of experience as HSE Officer in manufacturing plant Scheduled waste competent person (CEPSWAM) and any other EIMAS competencies would be added advantage (Bag filter/Scrubber) At least Degree in Occupational Safety/Health/Environment recognized by DOSH Malaysia Radiation Protection Officer by ATOM Board Trained and experienced auditor of management systems (Lead auditor would be an added advantage) Well verse on health & safety Legislation and Guidance and its application in an industrial setting. Experience in a continuous process plant.
