Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role for a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Site Leader to lead our Offshore Rig Base located in Miri. The HSE Site Leader will be responsible for maintaining and improving HSE policies, procedures, and practices for offshore drilling operations, and promoting a safety culture in the workplace. To supervise any HSE matters in all activities on board rig (tender assist drilling unit) including rig and other subcontractors. To monitor and compile site HSE statistic report, HSE weekly and other reports, generation of both routine and non-routine (ad-hoc) HSE reports as and when required. To ensure implementation of HSE Management System and other relevant guidelines with Drilling supervisors on board. To ensure smooth implementation of SIPROD / SIMOP, and to coordinate with counterpart from Production Team. To maintain HSE reports, SIMOPS, HSE case, lesson learnt database and other records of the HSEMS. To provide HSE support to the onshore HSE team and wider organization, as and when required. To actively participate in the promotion of HSE policies, plans and programs, and to provide advice on day-to-day HSE support. To work together with Rig contractor HSE representative of routine activities. Responsible for internal & external audit and to carry out HSE Impact Assessment. Qualifications (MUST): Bachelor\'s degree in Environmental Studies, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field Minimum ten years of experience in HSE for oil and gas industry, with at least five years as a Drilling Safety Offshore or any other similar position. Experience in SIMOP / SIPROD operation with drilling rig. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage with employees at all levels to promote a positive safety culture. Proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia Start work date: March 2024. Relevant experience in tender assist drilling unit (TADU).
