Our client is an European multinational company is a global leader in the manufacturing of engineered precision products used in conveyor, material handling and factory automation systems in Malaysia. They are currently looking for the right candidate to support its sales team.ResponsibilitiesHSE Role

• Maintain and ensure the effectiveness of all Management Systems (ISO 45001/ISO 14001/HQ Framework Audit).
• Review and maintain Health & Safety Risk Assessments, procedures and suggest improvement plan on H&S area.
• Review and maintain Environmental Impact and Aspect Assessments, procedures, Chemical storage, Scheduled waste management and suggest improvement plan on environmental area.
• Work with the operations team to enhance HSE at the site by improving the manufacturing and reporting processes.
• Hold quarterly Health, Safety and Environmental committee meetings.
• Participate in ISO internal audit team to ensure the management system are in good shape.
• Understands ISO procedures and ensures preparation for external audits to achieve a positive outcome.
• Ensure the compliance and implementation of environmental, health and safety regulations.

Quality Role

• Develop and implement quality standards to ensure the quality of the components and finish goods
• Generate inspection plan for third party inspection on chain components at supplier site.
• Resolve quality issue with component supplier in cooperation with engineering.
• Perform Incoming Goods Received & Final Production Inspection activities as required.
• Assisting in ensuring that quality assurance specifications are met by engineering, manufacturing, and other involved functions.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data using suitable inspection method.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in any engineering field preferably mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years\' experience in a HSE and/or Quality position.
• Detailed knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements.
• Experience in conducting Internal Audits against ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements
• Ability to support and/or lead root cause analysis, disciplined problem-solving and decision-making processes.
• The successful candidate must have strong computers skills, working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding various technical documents such as drawings, material certification, inspection report, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to speak and write good English. Conversant in Mandarin is a bonus but not essential

Salary RM3,500 - RM5,000 to commensurate with experience.
