This full-time role is responsible for supporting the full spectrum of Human Resource functions, with a strong focus on coordinating staff training with external providers, managing HR data, overseeing attendance and leave administration, supporting recruitment and selection, assisting in disciplinary matters, and performing other HR-related duties. The position plays a key role in ensuring HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively and aligned with the school's core values and growth strategies.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate staff training with external providers to ensure programs are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
Arrange accommodation and transportation for staff attending training sessions.
Monitor completion of staff development plans and ensure all training is executed according to schedule.
Manage training documentation, including grant and claim applications, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
Track and monitor utilisation of the staff training budget in collaboration with the Finance Department, ensuring expenditures remain within approved allocations.
Oversee attendance and leave management in compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and internal HR policies.
Track daily attendance, monitor sick and absence records, and compile comprehensive monthly attendance reports.
Ensure timely submission of attendance and leave data for payroll processing and reporting to headquarters.
Serve as the first point of contact for employees and line managers, providing guidance and support on attendance, leave, and other HR matters.
Support disciplinary processes, including cases involving misconduct, harassment, bullying, or grievances.
Assist in handling staff misconduct and administering disciplinary actions as directed by management.
Support the full cycle of performance management processes as assigned.
Assist in recruitment and selection activities, including job postings, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
Manage general administrative functions, including processing staff claims and maintaining HR records.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments, tasks, and projects as required by management.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in HR operations with hands-on exposure to core HR functions.
Strong understanding of HR processes and employment regulations.
High level of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively.
Positive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn and grow continuously.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
