Position : HUMAN RESOURCE, MANAGER Background : MRCS \xe2\x80\x93 locally known as Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia (BSMM) \xe2\x80\x93 is a voluntary humanitarian organization incorporated under an Act of Parliament and auxiliary to the Malaysian public authorities. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, MRCS operates through a vast volunteer base and a network of base units (branches and chapters) covering 13 states and three federal territories of Malaysia. We are looking for an HR Manager to help lead efforts in growing our teams. You will play a meaningful role in finding and hiring the people who align with our organization goals and culture. You will have the opportunity to define and drive the strategic direction of our hiring teams as the organizations grows to meet new demands. You will use your deep experience in full-cycle recruiting to lead, mentor and train a solid and high-performing employee base. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR or employee recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures. The bulk of the role will involve payroll, employee orientations, benefits administration, compensation, rewards, and conflict resolution, and there is great opportunity for developing and refining systems. Human Resources Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Support departments in developing and delivering strategic HR plans that fit with the overall organization direction
  • Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences, resolving employee grievances, training managers in how to coach and discipline, and counseling employees and supervisors
  • Champion the onboarding process by ensuring that it\'s high-quality and up to date, and provide clarity and connection for employees so their roles serve the overall organisation vision
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human-resources policies and procedures
  • Enhances the organization\xe2\x80\x99s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Supports organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Manages a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Implements employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; and designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
  • Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.
  • Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Manages human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Advances human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
  • Master or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from a four-year university or similar work experience required
  • 7+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
  • 4+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations
  • 4+ years of experience in a supervisory role
