Penerangan Kerja Kelayakan Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Staffing
Manage end-to-end recruitment for all hotel positions (full-time, part-time & trainees).
Develop hiring strategies to attract qualified candidates for operational departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, Security, etc.).
Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and coordinate with HODs and management for selection.
Oversee onboarding and ensure proper orientation for new staff.
2. Employee Relations
Maintain positive employee relations and act as the first point of contact for HR-related matters.
Handle staff grievances, disciplinary actions, counselling, and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and Malaysian labour laws.
3. Training & Development
Identify training needs together with HODs.
Plan, coordinate and monitor training programs (customer service, safety, halal competency, grooming, etc.).
Ensure staff skill development and continuous improvement.
4. HR Operations & Administration
Manage and update employee records, HR systems, and HR reports.
Oversee attendance, leave management, and staff scheduling support.
Prepare official letters (confirmation, warning, promotion, etc.).
Handle employee benefits, welfare programmes, and hospital panel arrangements.
5. Performance Management
Implement hotel performance appraisal procedures.
Monitor probation reviews, KPI achievements, and staff progression.
6. Compliance & Hotel Standards
Ensure adherence to hotel SOPs, HR policies, and statutory requirements.
Support audits (HR documentation, safety, halal, etc.).
Ensure the hotel maintains a professional, compliant, and motivated workforce.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
Minimum 3 years experience in HR; hospitality experience is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law.
Good communication, people management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism.
Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
