Senior Executive, HR

Responsibilities

Oversee the full recruitment process for both factory and office positions -- from advertising vacancies and conducting interviews to managing smooth onboarding experiences. Handle shop-floor employee relations, including listening to staff concerns, facilitating counselling discussions, and providing support in disciplinary procedures when needed. Ensure all HR practices align with Malaysian employment laws, internal company guidelines, and workplace safety regulations, especially within the manufacturing setting. Plan and track training initiatives for production teams to build capabilities, improve work performance, and meet operational training standards. Provide support in managing payroll inputs and attendance records, including shift planning, overtime monitoring, and leave tracking for operational staff. Lead employee engagement efforts by coordinating welfare programmes, staff motivation activities, and factory-focused team-building initiatives. Support HR documentation and audits related to compliance, ISO standards, and safety procedures required in the manufacturing industry.
Requirements

At least Degree in Human Resource/Business Administration or any related field. A

people-centric mindset,

genuinely cares about employee well-being and is a good listener. Comfortable engaging with employees on the

factory floor

and building positive relationships across all levels.

Organised and detail-oriented

, with working knowledge of HR processes such as onboarding, leave management, and record-keeping. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to

balance empathy with professionalism.

A

team player

with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude. Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS systems is an advantage. Willing to travel between sites or support employee engagement initiatives as needed.
