Human Resources Assistant- Contract position (Great Eastern Takaful Berhad) Key responsibilities: People Services
Maintain accurate Human Capital records in Oracle IHR.
Maintains good relationships between employer and employees by providing support in all staff welfare and human resource services which includes on staff confirmation, answering all employment related enquiries
Administer confirmation processes, ID issuance, data entry, leave reports, and attendance tracking.
Act as the first point of contact for employee queries related to People Services.
Prepare employment-related letters, including promotions, transfers, and other staff movements.
Handles the PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) administration
Maintains employee files and records in electronic form
Handles accounts receivables and ensure invoices are paid on time
Talent Acquisition Support
Support sourcing, screening, and onboarding of indirect contract resources.
Ensure accurate new hire entries in Oracle iHR and WIP tracking report.
Support HCBP working with business units on hiring plans, sourcing and project.
Assist with interviews for junior roles.
Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
We are looking for people who
Degree in Accounting, Business, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field from a recognised university.
At least one (1) year of experience in Human Resource field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact with employees at all levels.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a strong sense of accountability.
High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
