About the role:

The HR Director will be overseeing the HR systems. They will plan, lead, direct, develop and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resources (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of manpower strategies.

  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organisations goals and strategy related to employees, recruitment, development, and retention.
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives and surveys to support the organisations Human Resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Administers or oversees the administration of Human Resource programs including, but not limited to, Compensation & Benefits, Disciplinary matters, Disputes & Investigations, Performance and Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Occupational Health & Safety (in conjunction with facilities) and Training & Development.
  • Conducts research and analysis of organisational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organisations Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Talent Management System.
  • Monitors and ensures the organisations compliance with local employment laws & regulations and recommended best practices, reviews and modifies policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Develops and implements departmental budget.
  • Leads and facilitates professional development, training and certification activities for the HR Team.
Requirements:
  • More than 5 years experience in Senior Management position role.
  • Relevant education and HR-related certifications.
  • Hands-on leadership exposure to lead and guide a high-performing team.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated strong effective communication and interpersonal communication.
