Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Experience:At least 1-2 years in HR, especially in SMEs/service businesses.
Skills:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills - able to interact with staff at all levels (from trainees to management).
  • Understand Malaysian labor law (Employment Act 1955, overtime, leave, contracts, etc.).
  • Proficient in digital HR systems such as Google Sheets, StoreHub, Fresha, or any HRIS (if available).
  • Able to multitask - handle HR plus basic admin (attendance, claims, warning letters, memos, training records).
  • Diligent, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Advantageous if able to do basic report analysis (Excel/Google Data Studio) for attendance, commissions, or staff performance.
  • Possess a Class D driving license & own transport for branch visits.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a young team.

Job Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage the process of sourcing, screening, and interviewing new candidates.
  • Prepare offer letters, contracts, and onboarding checklists (documents, uniforms, bank accounts, etc.).
Attendance & Discipline Management
  • Monitor daily attendance through systems or manually.
  • Record leave, medical certificates, overtime, and disciplinary warnings accurately.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for staff issues or work-related complaints.
Payroll & Claims
  • Prepare monthly payroll (including basic salary, commissions, deductions, overtime, and claims).
  • Verify accuracy before submitting to accounts/finance.
Training & Development
  • Assist in scheduling staff training (e.g., technical courses, soft skills).
  • Maintain performance records and monthly KPIs for each branch.
  • Monitor probation periods and annual performance appraisals.
Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure all HR documents comply with standards (EA Form, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, EA letter).
  • Report staff status, joinings/resignations, absentees, and disciplinary matters to HQ monthly.
  • Culture & Engagement
  • Plan staff activities (CSR events, gatherings, birthdays, monthly meetings).
