Job Description


ZALORA Malaysia is looking for an experienced People Services Manager to play a pivotal role in our HR business partnering team and reports to Director of Talent Strategy and Business Partnerships. This role contributes to company performance by providing tactical and strategic advice on People and organizational development strategies to support ZALORA\'s business objectives, including conceptualizing and evaluating employee programs, recommending improvements on HR related policies, and making sure that all employee-related policies in each department align with our corporate goals and regulations. Responsibilities Partners with management and stakeholders to align HR strategy to business strategy. Manage a team of 4 HR professionals. Bridge managers and employee relations by addressing disciplinary issues and grievances Analyses HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies. Work closely with Center of Excellence and Culture & Organizational Effectiveness teams on projects and initiatives for the company. Support current and future business needs through team development, employee engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital Develop and monitor overall People strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the Malaysia entity. Oversee and manage yearly performance appraisal exercise that drives high performance Maintain pay plan and benefits program within the Malaysia entity. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs Maintains compliance with Malaysia local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Performs other duties as assigned Requirements At least 6 years experience in a HR and 3 years in HR people management position. People oriented and results driven Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics Knowledge of HR systems and databases Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices Degree in Human Resources or related field The ZALORA Story ZALORA is Asia\'s leading online fashion, beauty and lifestyle destination, part of Global Fashion Group.
