Job Description


Summary of Client: We represent a Japanese manufacturer of electronic components,Kyoto, Japan. Our client is primarily involved in the manufacturing of ceramic passive electronic components, primarily capacitors, including ceramic filters, high-frequencyparts, and sensors. :

  • Responsible for all Human Resources Department activities.
  • Organizes and controls the activities of subordinates. (Allocates duties to staff, coordinates and supervises their working, ensuring efficiency, discipline, and observance of prescribed procedures).
  • To assist the Human Resource Manager in implementing all the Company\xe2\x80\x99s policies related to Human Resources.
  • Study all files, draft letters and notes put up by clerical staff. Dispose of routine and intermediate matter himself/herself.
  • To conduct induction/orientation to new employees about TSR terms and conditions of employment.
  • Deals with important files and complicated cases personally and puts up notes, reports, and drafts to superiors for orders.
  • Directly report to Human Resource Manager/ Assistant Manager.
  • Ensures that prescribed procedure is followed by staff in dealing with cases.
  • Device procedures to ensure an efficient flow of work.
  • Keeps important, secret, and confidential records in his/her employees.
  • To supervise the preparation of salary payments to all employees and oversee the destruction of records at the expiration of the legal retention period accordingly to the prescribed methods.
  • To update the activities within the Human Resource department.
  • To ensure the schedule has been followed.
  • To ensure the discipline of Subordinates.
  • Assign the job to the appropriate subordinate.
  • Pre-approval on all departmental expenses/plans.
  • Assigned job to appropriate staff/subordinates.
  • Prepare training budget.
  • First selection/interview of the new applicant for the vacant position and to advise the Human Resource Manager on shortlisted candidates.
  • Counsels and advice employees with grievances
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or Human Resources related.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Human Resources functions.
  • Able to converse fluently in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Resourceful and able to work independently.
  • Organized with effective time management skills.
  • High level of initiative, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month Benefits:

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Kuching: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)
Experience:
  • Human resources: 4 years (Required)
  • Sarawak Labour Ordinance: 4 years (Required)
