THE ROLE Due to the expansion of the school, we are recruiting two Humanities Teachers. with the possibility of Head of Department for the right candidate. Prospective candidates will demonstrate a dynamic and creative approach to teaching, with experience in teaching any two of the following subjects to (I)GCSE and A Level: Geography, History, Business Studies and/or Economics. Experience teaching Key Stage 3 Geography and History is desirable and willingness/confidence to teach History and/or Geography to KS3 pupils is essential. We are looking for Humanities Teacher who:
Has an undergraduate degree or major in Business Studies/Economics
Is confident in teaching KS3 History and/or Geography
Has experience teaching in a British School/British Curriculum School
Has experience teaching Cambridge or equivalent British exam boards
Has evidence of \xe2\x80\x98Outstanding\xe2\x80\x99 teaching practice, or the ability to become outstanding.
Is confident in planning engaging, student-led lessons
Has the ability to use classroom technology to enrich the learning experience of our students
Is willing to make a contribution to the extracurricular life of the school.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS The successful applicant will be required to have the following:
A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE.
At least three years experience in the National Curriculum for either England & Wales, Scotland or equivalent international school curricula.
Experience teaching the IPC would be highly regarded.

should have a proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
A mindset which understands all students have the potential for top performance and the
drive and passion to enable them to do so.
Experience which will enable a contribution to our extensive co-curriculum programme.
Experience in a reputable international school would be highly regarded.
Due to Malaysian registration requirements, all teachers must be vaccinated against Covid 19.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT Salary The school will offer successful candidates a highly competitive salary package including housing allowance, end-of-service gratuity, medical insurance and airfares for the teacher, spouse and dependants along with fees remission for up to two dependent children. The post will be offered subject to satisfactory references, a medical examination and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. The starting date for this role is August 2023.
