Job Description


Job Purpose: To ensure accuracy and compliance of all hydrocarbon measurements, allocation systems and measurement equipment for SapuraOMV. This will consist of working with all internal and external parties to ensure all requirements are met. Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Participate actively in Company HSE programs and contribute freely to the achievement of the Company\'s HSE policies and objectives. Through personal commitment and involvement, contribute to the safe and environmentally responsible operations of the Company\'s day-to-day operations by complying with all policies and procedures and actively contributing to improvement through hazard and incident reporting and suggesting improvements. Verify allocation report and ensure the allocation report sign off before/on last calendar day of following month for measurement, testing, allocation & balancing (MTAB) report. Work closely with relevant engineers for production and allocation data daily surveillance. Played a key role in highlighting any suspected metering hardware problems through daily production surveillance to the metering team for timely rectification and provide inputs to metering team in generating Metering Irregularity Reports. Plan the MTAB sampling program and ensure the MTAB lab sampling report submission before the MTAB closeout date. Ensure the compliance to the performance and governance related to MTAB to ensure Contractor Compliance Index (CCI) is met. Participates actively in PETRONAS HyPAS Enhancement project. Ensure the shrinkage gas is in between 0-2%. Plan and coordinate condensate offtake lifting exercise in accordance with the offtake arrangement in slating meeting and Nomination and Lifting Agreement (NLA). Plan and coordinate with Commercial Department, PETRONAS Oil Movement team and other relevant parties for condensate stock inventories. To be company representative and witnessing party during lifting activities and focal point for condensate lifting document control for submission to PETRONAS Trading Corporation (PETCO) and relevant authorities. To ensure timely submission of all oil/condensate shipment documentation. Requirements: Candidate must possess minimum of Degree in Engineering / Production Engineering / Science or equivalent to any related field. Minimum of 5 years\' experience (minimum Degree) or 10 years\' experience (minimum Diploma) or 15 years\' experience (minimum Professional Certificate) in Oil & Gas Industry. Extensive experience in hydrocarbon measurements, allocation systems and measurement equipment for upstream oil & gas. Well verse with PETRONAS Governing Standards (previously known as PPGUA) requirement, GSA, OMFUA/MSA, NLA and MTAB Procedure. Well verse with PETRONAS HyPAS system, able to generate irregularity reports (IR) and in-depth knowledge on MTAB report allocation. Good knowledge of metering system and requirements. Good understanding of oil and gas production network. Experienced in attending metering FAT, following standard for acceptance. Able to communicate and engage with external stakeholders on any matters related to allocation. Having experienced in any condensate/tanker lifting witnessing are added advantage. Location: SapuraOMV Office, Tower 2, KLCC, Kuala Lumpur. Reporting: This position reports to the Lead Planning Engineer. Closing Date: 31st March 2024
