Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of relevant consultancy experience, preferably in hydrology, hydraulic engineering, or water resources management. Fresh graduates with a strong interest and academic background in hydrology and hydraulics are encouraged to apply.

Skills and Experience:

Experience in

water resources

,

river basin studies

,

drainage design

, and/or

flood mitigation projects

. Proficient in

hydrological and hydraulic modelling software

such as

HEC-HMS

,

HEC-RAS

,

InfoWorks ICM

, or

DHI MIKE

. Strong analytical ability in interpreting rainfall-runoff data, river flow records, and hydrological parameters. High proficiency in

technical report writing

and documentation. Competent in

Microsoft Office Suite

and GIS tools (e.g.,

ArcGIS/QGIS

). Ability to build effective working relationships with

government agencies

,

clients

,

subconsultants

, and

contractors

. Experience in

ISO 9001 standards

implementation is an advantage. Excellent communication skills in both

English

and

Bahasa Malaysia

Key Responsibilities:

Report directly to the

Head of Department (HOD)

on project progress and technical matters. Assist in

planning, managing, and executing hydrological and hydraulic components

of engineering projects. Assist in

hydrological data analysis

,

catchment delineation

,

rainfall-runoff modelling

, and

flood studies

. Support

detailed design

for drainage, river improvement, and flood mitigation projects. Attend

client and stakeholder meetings

, providing technical input and solutions. Conduct

site visits

, data collection, and field verification as required. Provide

mentorship and technical guidance

to junior engineers or technical assistants. Contribute to the preparation of

project proposals, tenders, and ISO documentation

. Coordinate with the

draughting team

to ensure precise and high-quality engineering drawings.
