Job requirement:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education (with ICT specialization), or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of teaching ICT/Computer Science at the secondary level (IGCSE experience preferred).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python, coding/programming, and software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Graphics, HTML).

Preferred Attributes:

+ Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
+ Ability to create engaging, project-based learning experiences.
+ Experience in mentoring students and supporting colleagues in ICT.
+ Willingness to organize ICT exhibitions and school-wide initiatives.
+ Strong proficiency in the English language

As an ICT/Computer Science Teacher, you will:

Deliver high-quality lessons in ICT and Computer Science for secondary students, including IGCSE. Develop and adapt course materials, lesson plans, and schemes of work in line with curriculum standards. Foster student proficiency in programming (Python), software applications, and digital literacy. Promote hands-on, project-based learning to enhance student engagement and practical skills. Maintain and manage classroom technology systems to ensure optimal learning conditions. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and lead professional development in ICT. Organize school events such as ICT exhibitions, coding competitions, or tech workshops. Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that inspires student interest in technology.
