What will be your responsibilities?

The ICT Design Engineer for Data Centers is responsible for the end-to-end design of ICT infrastructure that supports mission-critical data center operations. This includes structured cabling, networking pathways, physical security systems, and integration with mechanical and electrical infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and compliance with global data center standards.



Develop detailed ICT design drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for data center facilities. Design structured cabling systems (copper and fiber optics) for backbone, horizontal distribution, and inter-data hall connectivity. Plan and design ICT equipment rooms, meet-me rooms, and pathways (racks, trays, conduits, raised floor systems). Integrate ICT systems with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and architectural layouts. Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documentation for ICT scope. Ensure ICT designs comply with Tier standards (Uptime Institute / TIA-942), BICSI, ISO/IEC, IEEE, and local codes. Review vendor proposals, shop drawings, and product submissions for compliance with project requirements. Provide technical support during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases. Perform site inspections to verify proper installation of ICT infrastructure in line with approved designs. Work closely with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, security, AV, and operations) to ensure seamless system integration. Stay updated on emerging ICT technologies for data centers, recommending solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and resilience.

This is the profile we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications / ICT Engineering or related discipline. 5-7 years of proven experience in ICT infrastructure design for data centers. In-depth knowledge of structured cabling, data center networking, and ICT physical infrastructure. Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit / BIM for ICT design documentation. Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier Certification and TIA-942 standards. BICSI RCDD or equivalent certification (preferred). Understanding of coordination with MEP systems in data center environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. Expertise in ICT infrastructure for mission-critical facilities. Strong design documentation and technical writing skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines. Team collaboration with cross-disciplinary engineering teams. Commitment to high-quality design aligned with reliability and availability requirements.
