Job Description

Job Purpose: The IT support executive will be responsible for provision of technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolution of IT issues, maintenance, and optimization of computer hardware, software, and network, ensuring the smooth functioning of IT operations within the organization. Qualification & Requirement: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience in IT support or a related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems such as Windows / Windows Server, Linux / Unix. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with end-users and colleagues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. \xe2\x80\xa2 Willingness to work outside of normal business hours when required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of security protocols and firewalls to prevent unauthorized access to the network. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of the IP networking stack, TCP/IP protocols. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to IT infrastructure and services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with ISP-specific software and technologies is a plus. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to start work immediately. \xe2\x80\xa2 Free from criminal records and has a good standing reputation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work under minimal supervision. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong English and Bahasa Melayu language command. Physical demands: \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, up to 25 kg. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment. Main Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, software, and network issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software for end-users. \xe2\x80\xa2 Set up and maintain computer networks, including LAN and WAN. \xe2\x80\xa2 Install and configure printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Set up and maintain telephony system (PABX) and surveillance system (CCTV). \xe2\x80\xa2 Support and maintain multimedia and conferencing systems, such as speakers, speakerphones, microphones, monitors, touchscreens, and related items. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with contractors and other professional staff during IT projects implementation and 3rd party integration. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide training and support to end-users. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software assets. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage user accounts and access control for different systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage backups and disaster recovery plans. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain security protocols and firewalls to prevent unauthorized access to the network. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stay up to date with new technology and industry trends to improve office IT infrastructure and services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform proactive/reactive maintenance/updates/upgrades or IT service change as per Company\xe2\x80\x99s Change Management Policy in relation to Office IT infrastructure. \xe2\x80\xa2 Troubleshoot and restore services as per Company\xe2\x80\x99s Incident Management Policy \xe2\x80\xa2 Contribute to budget (CAPEX/OPEX) planning process in terms of Office IT hardware, software, or licenses. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to. \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow Company\xe2\x80\x99s IT and Data Centre policies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Achieve targets set by line manager within guidelines established by the DC facilities Manager. General Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive and champion the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Corporate Governance, Corporate Vision and Mission, and Corporate Objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Encourage and promote a healthy working culture with a sense of high integrity and good work ethic. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide relevant support to the team from time to time as instructed by the Superior and/or Management.
