About the job ICT Teacher, Year 1 - Year 6

Job Purpose

It is the role of the teacher to:

Teach the subject assigned for the required number of hours based on the time table provided.
Use a wide repertoire of teaching and learning strategies that will stimulate learning.
Assess formatively and summatively, recording and reporting on progress, monitoring progress against targets, giving advice for students improvement.
Contribute towards scheme of work and lesson plans.

To teach within the ICT Department for the required number of hours based on the allocation from the Head of Department.
Use a wide repertoire of teaching and learning strategies that will stimulate learning.
Assess formatively and summatively, recording and reporting on progress, monitoring progress against targets, giving advice for improvement.
To contribute towards scheme of work, lesson plans and teaching resources.

Job Requirements

Minimum a Bachelors Degree in Education (in related field or equivalent).
Able to teach creatively using a wide range of methods and approaches.
Possess minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a School environment with high proficiency in ICT or obtained excellent grading in ICT.
Must have love, passion, and commitment towards teaching children.
Possess experience, knowledge and proficiency at relevant level for ICT subject.
