Key Responsibilities

:

1. Oversee daily operations of the IETS to ensure full compliance with applicable environmental regulations.

2. Monitor and treat effluent from manufacturing processes in accordance with the Environmental Quality Act 1974 and IETS 2009 Regulations.

3. Maintain efficient performance of treatment processes and promptly address any operational issues.

4. Supervise maintenance and repair activities, ensuring availability of essential spare parts and treatment chemicals.

5. Plan and carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance for all IETS equipment.

6. Assist in the preparation of operational and performance reports, ensuring accurate and complete data records for management review.

7. Conduct environmental audits and inspections of the IETS and its surrounding areas to identify non-compliance risks.

8. Supervise and train IETS operators to ensure proper system operation and regulatory adherence.

9. Manage the handling and disposal of scheduled waste generated from IETS operations in accordance with legal requirements.

10. Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System).

11. Serve as the Competent Person for the IETS, acting as the primary liaison with the Department of Environment (DOE) for licensing and regulatory matters.

12. Support the company's ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) efforts and contribute to sustainability initiatives.

13. Perform other related duties as assigned by superiors.

Qualification & Experience:

1. Minimum diploma in Science or Engineering or an equivalent qualification, with at least 1 year of experience in IETS operations.

2. Must have attended the competency course CePIETSO (PCP), Certified CePIETSO (PCP) is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
