Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

-Prepare scheme of work and lesson plans of the assigned teaching subject;
-Deliver lessons effectively according to the learning ability of the students within the class;
-Assess and evaluate students' learning progress and prepare relevant reports for the Academic Head and/parents;
-Keep abreast with the latest teaching pedagogy and technologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning;
-Participate in extra co-curriculum activities with students and support all school activities and events;
-Being a role model for the students generally and in humanistic education specifically.
-Opportunity to coordinate or head subject department as we expand further

Job Requirements:

-Minimum Degree in TESL/Teaching/Education; candidates with Degree in equivalent professional qualifications are encouraged. Preferably with IGCSE English as a Second Language Oral Endorsement certificate (Cambridge International Examination Board).
-Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching profession, with a broad and thorough knowledge in the appointed teaching subject. Teaching experience in international school or in Cambridge IGCSE curriculum or equivalent will be prioritised.
-Strong commitment and passion for education incorporating IGCSE and Singapore syllabus.
-Highly motivated, responsible, compassionate and innovative in a start up International School.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in multiple languages; well verse in presentations; computer literate
