looking for a skilled IT Monitoring Specialist with hands-on experience in Grafana, focused on setting up end-to-end monitoring for applications, APIs, and operating systems.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in Grafana setup and dashboard customization
Ability to monitor application performance, including key health metrics, response times, and error rates
Experience with API-level monitoring - availability, latency, success/error rates, and integration with tools like Prometheus, Tempo, or OpenTelemetry
Integration of Grafana with various data sources (Prometheus, Loki, InfluxDB, ElasticSearch, etc.)
Setup of real-time alerting, thresholds, and escalation mechanisms (e.g., email, Teams, Opsgenie)
Familiarity with Linux environments, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and container platforms (Kubernetes/Docker)
Experience using logs, metrics, and traces for troubleshooting and observability
