Supply Chain Finance Analyst

with our reputed Client.

Work Location: KL



Contract role: 6 months contract, Replacement Contract

Role Summary: -


As a Supply Chain Analyst, you are responsible provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.

Essential Responsibilities: -



Designing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting, including distributed controllership, process simplification and internal controls. Serving as controllership experts on financial system and ERP implementations. Detecting and signals flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements. Handling communication with colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis. Contributing to project as a team member. Performing month-end closing activities to ensure recording of journal entries and to meet business deadlines and requirements.

Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies): -



Years of experience: 3 - 5 Years dealing in financial accounting Field of experience: Accounting / Finance Technical Skills: Accounting Standards knowledge (IFRS / GAAP) Soft Skills: Possess strong analytical skills with proactive mindset, with the ability to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team Tools or Software (Required): MS Office, SAP and Oracle Education Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent Industry Background or Experience (Required): Finance, Shared services Target Companies: Shared Services of any company and audit / professional firms (e.g. PWC, EY, Deloitte) Off-limits Companies: KPMG Required Accreditations / Qualifications / Certification / Licenses including driving License: N/A

Desirable attributes of the worker (Experience / Skills / Competencies): -



ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage Experience in Shared Service will be added advantage Possess positive thinking and attitude, professionalism, takes ownership of and accountability of the work product. Self-starter with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines Team-player and customer-centric attitude
