About the role

Reporting to the Indirect Tax Compliance manager, the candidate will provide Indirect Tax support and help to develop processes and procedures to ensure that the business is Indirect Tax routinely compliant and is operating in the most efficient and globally standardized way possible.

Key responsibilities

• Bring an intelligent problem solving skill set to the role in order to work with the indirect tax compliance manager and the business for different countries.
• Ensure that the correct Indirect Tax rules are applied to tax-related Master Data..
• Maintain that ability to do the work, where necessary, in order to understand in detail what the process is and where the tax risks and possible process inefficiencies lie.
• Review indirect tax returns and financial control reconciliations
• Ensure compliance timetable and tax debtor reports are prepared monthly.
• Ensure that the correct Indirect Tax rules are applied to indirect tax Master data
• Ensure AP workflows to Tax are dealt with correctly, initially doing the AP workflows to indirect tax for new countries in order to ensure no misunderstandings or process issues.
• Regularly liaising with other functions with a view to identifying and implementing best end-to-end process across the group.
• Ensure compliance to specified Indirect Tax regulations and requirements in each jurisdiction and help to implement indirect tax end-to-end process improvements.

• Must be numerically accurate with a "good eye for detail", thorough, organized and consistent.
• Expected to initially prepare the indirect tax returns and reconciliations themselves
• Excel to a high standard, including Fx functions, Pivots, charts, data analysis and presentation into day to day work.
• SAP to manage indirect tax reporting with an understanding of relevant financial transactions
• High level of English language proficiency as this is Kerry\'s most widely used language. Other languages may be helpful.
• Accounting/Finance degree or equivalent fully or partly qualified professional accountancy qualifications also relevant
