The Sales Team Leader is responsible for managing, motivating, and guiding a team of sales executives to achieve company sales targets. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven track record in sales to drive both individual and team performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management & Leadership
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
Conduct daily/weekly sales meetings to track progress, set priorities, and resolve issues.
Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to sales team members.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and professional standards.
Sales & Business Development
Drive the team to generate new leads and expand the company's customer base.
Support team members in closing key deals and managing important accounts.
Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Achieve personal sales targets alongside leading the team.
Reporting & Strategy
Prepare and present regular sales reports to management.
Contribute to sales strategy development and execution.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to recommend improvements.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales with at least
2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
.
Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in MS Office / CRM systems.
