Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Industrial Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional conceptualization skills, a strong understanding of design processes, and the ability to produce innovative product designs. The successful candidate should have prior experience in the furniture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize research insights, design skills, and technology to conceptualize and develop unique product lines and products.
• Collaborate with peers from other disciplines to develop recommendations and problem-solve.
• Provide design leadership on project teams, making design decisions, and communicating product concept recommendations to Steelcase and Industrial Design management.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to define, analyze, and solve design problems.
• Exceptional conceptualization skills.
• Proficiency in PC and CAD software, including SolidWorks/Creo 3D modeling.
• Advanced surfacing modeling skills are a plus.
• Ability to use rendering software for realistic visualization, including Keyshot/3D Max or any other preferred software.
• Strong studio skills, including knowledge of materials and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Industrial Design or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Design.
• Experience in the furniture industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to produce innovative and unique designs.
