Job Description
Job Purpose
As an Industrial Engineer (IE), you will enhance manufacturing efficiency, optimize production flow, and reduce waste in our metal stamping process, focusing on process layout, time studies, and lean principles to meet cost, quality, and productivity goals.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
Develop and optimize plant layout, material flow, and workstation ergonomics.
Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating times and manpower requirements.
Support setup time reduction (SMED) and cycle time improvement projects.
Support cost reduction initiatives through scrap analysis, die change optimization, and tooling improvement.
Support six sigma initiatives for variation and waste reduction.
Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and performance tracking reports.
Qualifications
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.Experience
: 2 years in industrial engineering, preferably in manufacturing/metal stamping.Skills
: Process analysis and improvement expertise. Basic Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency. Knowledge of process control and lean/Six Sigma principles.Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
