POSITION SUMMARY

The role of Industrial Engineering Manager is to provide industrial engineering support for cryogenic Air Separation Units (ASU) and associated equipment fabrication, continuously optimize the manufacturing process, facility, equipment, layout planning etc., and lead the implementation of Continuous Improvement system and application of CI tools to accomplish assigned business improvement.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead manufacturing methodizing coordinate within manufacturing functions, including developing execution solution, resource planning, equipment, layout, and key supplier qualification and development. Develop the team capability for manufacturing execution, including key fabrication processes, quality control and productivity measurement and schedule control. Compile and Issue Technical Risk Statements on new product or project proposals, detailing any mitigating actions and levels of risk associated with any step-outs from past or normal manufacturing activities. Liaise between Manufacturing, Engineering & the R&D community to resolve any design or manufacturing issues/improvements on equipment being built or assembled in the manufacturing facility or in the field. Provide technical advice and manufacturing experience and knowledge during engineering specification, design, and construction. Taking leadership in facility tooling & machinery, Look-ahead to forecast what may be at risk. Probe for Improvements in machinery operations. Lead the implementation of CI system and application of CI tools, manage CI resource, planning and execution for increased productivity and cost reductions. Develop procedures for field manufacturing scope, maintenance and repairing tasks, along with any other domestics and overseas field activities where Manufacturing has an involvement. JOB REQUIREMENTS

>=20 years in Manufacturing or related Mechanical field, >= 10 years ASU related Manufacturing experience. Good knowledge from specification, design drawings, materials, fabrication processes, quality control and machinery, tools and jigs required for manufacturing. Must be well versed in management systems and evolve such systems to complement the requirements of a changing and expanding business. Proven track record in engineering/project/management roles with broadly based engineering knowledge and experience in manufacturing industries. Good leadership, communication and organizational skills are required, with an ability to establish, develop and lead teams. Must have good inter-personal skills to deal professionally with company people at all levels, and with customers, local authorities, and others. Have experience of cross-cultural aspects of working within a multi-national organization and proven ability to build relationships. Incumbent is expected to have bachelor\'s degree in an Engineering discipline, additional education preferred.
