The Employee and Industrial Relations Manager is a strategic and tactical HR partner to local Operation site and Business Line & Support Functions in Malaysia. He/she is part of the HR core team members at local site to drive HR agenda primarily in Employee and Industrial relation matters for business which include cultivating an ethical and winning culture, building organizational and leadership capability as well as managing the workforce to ensure business success.
The incumbent shall primarily focus on Employee and Industrial Relations areas and scalable to other HR disciplines such as Talent and Development, Workforce Planning, Rewards and HR generalist.
The incumbent is responsible to lead or guide Social Responsibility (SR) agenda to ensure the site remains compliance to NXP SR framework and code of conduct. Liaisons with all relevant functions including Corporate Legal, Communication, Finance, etc. and external government parties to ensure all local HR programs and initiatives are in line with internal guidelines and compliant to the government policies and industry requirement.
Supports the country HR leader, factory GM and local management team to drive for organizational and cultural transformation to achieve business\xe2\x80\x99s long-term objective towards industry benchmarking performance.
The incumbent is expected, where appropriate, to contribute in areas outside his/her direct functional responsibilities by leading or participating in global or cross-site or site level project or initiative to support local business need.
RBA Audit and governance is a plus.

Requirements:
Degree: Bachelor or above degree
Major: HR Management or Business Administration is preferable
Background:
-Hi-tech (Semiconductor or electronic) or automotive industry exposures is preferable
-Manufacturing experience is a MUST * Experience:
-Min 8 years work experience in Industrial Relations, HR and related disciplines
-Candidates with broader HR experience are encouraged to apply. HR Generalist experience is a plus
-Experience in multinational company and matrix organization is a MUST
-Experience in leading or supporting business transformation is a plus
