Information Technology Developer

Our client is a Hong Kong based Renewable Energy and Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Systems and Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an IT Systems and Automation Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing productivity, optimizing business processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Your expertise in office automation, workflow design, and system implementation will contribute to increasing efficiency and enabling growth within the organization.

• Role: IT Developer
• Remuneration: upto 5,500 MYR
• Location: Penang, Malaysia

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and implement office and workflow automation solutions to enhance productivity and increase efficiency across all business functions.
• Provide expert advice, recommendations, and solutions to management regarding IT matters and issues.
• Initiate and coordinate the implementation of technical controls to support company IT security policies.
• Build and maintain office network and server infrastructure, ensuring their stability and optimal performance.
• Provide hardware and software support to users, managing user accounts and ensuring their seamless operation.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365 Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
• Utilize programming skills in Visual Basic, PHP, Java, or JavaScript to develop and customize software solutions.
• Source and evaluate IT equipment, parts, software, and platforms, ensuring cost-effectiveness in all IT investments.
• Manage email, cloud storage, and VPN services to ensure reliable and secure communication and data access.
• Administer Microsoft Accounts and ensure their proper functioning.
• Implement and maintain ERP, HRMS, and CRM systems to optimize business operations.
• Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related queries and provide timely support and troubleshooting.
• Ensure the day-to-day operations of cloud storage, computers, and other hardware/peripheral devices.
• Configure and maintain hardware, software, and infrastructure to support daily operations.
• Train users on software, applications, and computer equipment usage.
• Enhance and maintain the company website in accordance with management requirements.
• Maintain an up-to-date software and IT equipment inventory and ensure software licensing compliance.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experience in IT systems, automation, and related fields.
• Strong knowledge of systems, networks, applications, databases, hardware, and software.
• Experience in Machine Learning, Automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP, SQL, and others.
• Application development for collaboration using the Microsoft Teams platform.
• Office automation and workflow design using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Maintenance, setup, and application development using relational database systems.
• Malaysian citizenship is required.
