Maintain and manage IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networking components, operating systems, and data storage.
Implement and enforce policies to ensure the security of data, information systems, and technology assets.
Monitor system performance and ensure uptime; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Support server and network infrastructure, including tools or application installation, virtualization, and cloud services.
Maintain and troubleshoot storage and backup systems; perform data recovery when necessary.
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance and resolve service tickets related to IT infrastructure.
Assist in user support, including onboarding / off-boarding and access management.
Participate in IT infrastructure projects such as system upgrades and deployments.
Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Special Skills Required:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting server operating systems (Windows, Linux), network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Networking Knowledge: Experience with configuring and maintaining network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), VPN, WAN/LAN, and network security protocols.
System Administration: Familiarity with server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, scripting languages (PowerShell, Linux Shell, Python), and centralized system monitoring tools (Zabbix, etc.).
Problem-solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Requirements:
To be eligible, candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent diploma.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support or role within IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with server administration and maintenance tasks.
Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Willingness to travel as needed and possesses own transportation.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are an advantage.
