Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Infrastructure Engineer (Electrical) to oversee the installation, maintenance, and improvement of energy and utility systems across our manufacturing plants. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of critical facilities including HVAC, compressed air, and electrical systems while managing site renovation and construction projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Maintenance & Operations

Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of plant utilities and energy systems: HVAC, compressed air systems, electrical, and water supply. Execute and supervise facility improvement and minor renovation works.

Construction Project Management

Manage the entire process of infrastructure construction projects from planning to handover. Supervise contractors, monitor progress, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Maintenance Strategy & Vendor Management

Evaluate whether equipment requires external repair or replacement based on operational needs. Manage and supervise external repair works, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Conduct final inspections and acceptance of maintenance/repair work. Provide technical solutions and recommendations for complex facility issues to ensure root-cause resolution.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related fields. Minimum

3 years of relevant experience

in industrial facility maintenance, utility systems, or construction project supervision. Experience in industrial buildings, with strong exposure to

HVAC, compressed air systems, and electrical installations

preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of building construction principles and industrial utilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with

CAD software

is a strong advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination abilities. Ability to manage multiple contractors and internal stakeholders.

Personal Attributes

Proactive, hands-on, and able to work under pressure in a manufacturing environment. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
