About the Client

Our client is a leading Australian payment solutions provider, headquartered in Melbourne with expansion in Kuala Lumpur and established operations across Mainland China and Hong Kong. They streamline billing for businesses of all sizes by offering a comprehensive suite of payment services, including merchant acquiring, direct debit, online credit card payments, and BPAY.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and deploy servers across production, UAT, and testing environments. Perform routine system checks, monitor alerts, and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability and availability. Manage server performance and health using monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, SkyWalking). Apply security patches, conduct vulnerability scans, and support PCI DSS compliance requirements. Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and operational procedures. Work closely with internal teams to support deployments and ensure smooth operations.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in DevOps, IT operations, or infrastructure engineering. Proficient in at least one scripting language: Shell, Python, or Golang. Proficient in English & Mandarin language is a MUST. Strong experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and SkyWalking. Familiar with at least one CI/CD tool (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Hands-on experience with cloud service providers, especially AWS and Alibaba Cloud. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plus. Solid understanding of Linux systems and architecture. Experience deploying and managing services such as Nginx, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis. Good understanding of network protocols, especially TCP/IP and HTTP. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle incidents independently. Previous experience with PCI DSS compliance is highly preferred.
