Freelance Caregiver Needed (Monday to Friday, 9am-7pm)

Location:

Client home within selected area

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate freelance caregiver to provide personal and medical support to individuals in need of daily care. This role is ideal for someone experienced in home caregiving and passionate about supporting elderly or recovering clients in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care & ADL Support

- Assist with hygiene routines: bathing, grooming, toileting
- Support in dressing, mobility transfers (e.g., bed, wheelchair)
- Provide feeding support when necessary

Medication & Health Monitoring

- Remind or help clients take prescribed medications
- Monitor and log vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
- Report health changes to family or supervisor

Meal & Nutrition Management

- Prepare or warm simple meals based on dietary needs
- Ensure client hydration and nutrition are maintained
- Support feeding for those with difficulty eating independently

Light Housekeeping Duties

- Laundry, bed changing, basic cleaning related to client care
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organised environment

Companionship

- Offer friendly conversation, emotional support
- Accompany clients on walks or light activities
- Engage in simple mental stimulation tasks (e.g., reading, puzzles)

Medical Assistance & Appointments

- Escort clients to medical check-ups or treatment sessions
- Assist with mobility and communication during outings

Specialised Care (If Applicable)

- Care for clients with dementia, stroke, Alzheimer's, or bedridden
- Perform specialised tasks such as wound care, suctioning, tube feeding (for qualified caregivers)
- Night care and fall prevention for high-risk individuals

Daily Updates & Communication

- Provide updates on client condition and care activities
- Maintain daily logs and communicate emergencies or changes

Candidate Requirements:

Prior experience in caregiving or nursing assistance Physically able to support client mobility and tasks Reliable, empathetic, and professional Clear communicator and able to work independently Trained caregivers preferred for specialised tasks
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
