Will you shape the world with us? Role: Website Developer - WordPress and Shopify Job Type: Independent Contractor Hours: Monday to Friday (9-6pm) Location: Work from home (Remote) Responsibilities:

• Managing the development team to deliver websites in line with design requirements provided (cross-browser, responsive including desktop, tablet and mobile)
• Help-desk support \xe2\x80\x93 helping find technical solutions to customer requirements
• Website maintenance for existing clients who require plugin updates, backups and more
• Ensuring sites are maintained to the highest standards
• Quality assurance at all stages of development
• The desire to be solution-focused and produce great work
• The ability to manage to time and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail \xe2\x80\x93 high level of QA
• Loyalty, honesty and passionate
• The ability to adapt to our processes

Requirements:

• Strong technical capability in Shopify, WordPress (and WooCommerce)
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Javascript
• WordPress plugin management, modification, integration, debugging and troubleshooting
• Experience working with cPanel management and maintenance
• Basic understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles and tactics
• Experience in Google Ads management, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
• Sound communication skills (both written and spoken) \xe2\x80\x93 particularly in English
• Being able to work within the Australian time zone

Experience: We are seeking someone with a minimum of 2-3 years website development and management experience who can efficiently and effectively help us deliver wonderful websites to clients.
