Job Description
Role: Injection Moulding Process Engineer
Industry: Leading manufacturer of high-quality plastic components and products
Work Location: Larkin, Johor
Keys:
- To maintain documentations on process control meeting ISO and customers standard
- To improve production efficiency and quality
- To have all jigs/ machines/ testers validated and qualified for production
- Evaluate and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing method
- Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions
- Monitor and analyse process performance for continuous improvement for production and sub-con
- Prepare all necessary documents for process control. (Check sheet, WI, CP, FMEA, material usage, etc)
- Establish machine manual for technician to carry out proper set up and fine tuning of machine, testers and equipment. Buyoff, evaluate, qualify, troubleshoot, repair, optimize, improve and maintain production tools, machine, testers and equipment
- Ensure process cycle time always up to date
- Carry out investigation and propose countermeasures for rejects
- Conduct failure analysis and come out with comprehensive report and evident
- Accountable for production and sub-con issues (quality/ output), ultimate objective is to support production and sub-con on improving productivity & efficiency
- Ready to receive ad hoc task from superior
- SPM and above
- Knowledge in Injection molding/Printing/Spray/Assembly
- Experience in process control, documentation and optimization
