UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

The Innovation Hub 2 Internship Programme is a minimum 12-week internship programme. Designed to nurture the next generation of UOB tech leaders, you will be assigned to a domain at the start of the programme where you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced senior staff.

You will receive technical training, on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and learn to apply Agile and DevOps practices to your work. Subject to performance, you could also be offered a full-time position in Innovation Hub 2\'s graduate programme upon graduation.

Job Requirements

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Able to start on April 2023
• Malaysian nationality
• An undergraduate / postgraduate from a local or overseas university currently pursuing a Computer Science degree or a similar degree in a related discipline
• Fluent in oral as well as written English
• Good interpersonal skills
• Have a keen interest in banking and its related businesses

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

You will receive induction and technical training in your first week, followed by 3-6 months of on-the-job training in your allocated domain. This will provide you with hands-on learning opportunities under the guidance and coaching of senior staff. Upon completion of the internship programme, you will have developed an in-depth understanding of Innovation Hub 2 and banking technology.
