JOB MAIN PURPOSE
The job purpose of the Innovation Manager is to build the Innovation strategy, roadmap and pipeline for the assigned brand(s) for the cluster, and to partner closely with Customer Teams on bringing the innovation launches to the market. Key points:
Ideation & Scoping for existing demand spaces and new innovation opportunities
Develop Brand Architecture, Roadmap & Pipeline for Asia and each Customer Team
Innovation Project Lead (End-to-End) in close collaboration with Customer
Partner with BD&L / In-Licensing / in-organic growth opportunities
YOUR KEY ROLE & RESONSIBILTIES:
Lead in Ideation, Scoping, Volumetrics, LPPM Briefing, Feasibility Check, Business Case Preparation and alignment with Customer team.
Design and execute short term, mid-term and long-term innovation and business development pipeline.
+ Lead key innovation projects, including brand extensions to accelerate sales growth
+ NPD opportunity and populating the funnel through analysis of market and competitors
Launch Toolkit preparation with Customer team / Enterprise team (inc. master artwork development)
Commercial project lead / partner with iGM / Technical / cross-functional teams.
Participates in Asia / cluster-related meetings with Customer teams, leads Monthly Innovation meetings with Customer Teams
YOUR KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS ;
Education level: min. bachelor's degree in business or related background
At least 6-7 years and up of experience in marketing field with a minimum of 5 years in category development, preferably with exposure in OTC Industry; matrixed top tier companies and/or multi-country experience.
Solid Portfolio Management experience including strategic brand planning, understanding consumer & shopper, new product development and robust consumer activation experience.
