Summary:
We are looking for a talented Copywriter to join our dynamic and international team. This position is a great opportunity to tell stories that create value and are engaging, sharp, and provocative. The ideal candidate is a great collaborator and has excellent writing skills. S/he will be responsible for producing explicit texts for the different channels such as websites, social media, blogs, and PR documents of new and growing brands worldwide.

We are launching our new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where you will be working closely with a global team of graphic-, web- designers, video editor, marketing executive, and creative directors. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a functional team and contribute to the creative process in conceptualising and developing engaging marketing plans that provides value to clients.
- Write clear and error-free content that reflects our client’s voice.
Maintain updated content on website, social media channels, & blogs.
- Propose copy concepts in an engaging way for clients.
- Interpret creative direction and technical information and turn them into persuasive copy concepts.
- Collaborate in the brainstorm and development of marketing materials.
- Edit and modify copy to meet content expectations.
- Support the growth strategy for our client’s audiences by developing a content strategy that stands out among the noise.
- Support on the overview of the Social Media Plan on the different social channels and different clients.
- Overview content creation well in advance and coordinate with external parties (e.g. identifying guest to interview). This will involve development of both planned and ad-hoc content, publishing, facilitation of promotional activities on social media and other digital platforms.
- Provide ideas on new tools to create better work and work more efficiently.
- Work closely with the rest of our team and partners to develop creative content that increases audience engagement and grows social reach.
- Identify digital marketing trends, competitive research, best practices, and key opportunities for innovation.
The successful applicant has:
- Good Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
- Excellent grammar skills.
- Be able to adapt different voices on the strategy content depending of the client.
- Practical know-how with Google Ads and Social Advertising (Google Display Network, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram).
- Experience with creative ad testing and optimization. In depth knowledge of Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and all aspects of Digital Marketing (SEO, newsletter marketing).
- Familiar with bid strategies and bid management solutions.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. You are comfortable with data analysis and are able to use data to make decisions and tell a story.
- Bachelor’s in English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years work experience as copywriter or journalist.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude and a supportive team member with leadership qualities.
- A keen learner with an open mind for new challenges. You are willing to bring new ideas to the table and take ownership to drive these ideas.
- Having an established Social Media / Blog profile is a plus!
