To carry out site inspections to ensure compliance with the contact specification and drawings, current legislation and standard policy.
To prepare reports on progress, site activities and all other related matters.
To be responsible for the supervision and monitoring of construction works in accordance with the contract and construction drawings especially in respect of specifications, quality and time of completion.
To ensure that all materials delivered to site are conform to the approved specifications and the project\xe2\x80\x99s inspection test plan.
To identify all remedial/outstanding works to be carried out and to ensure that those works are carried out by the contractors within the time stipulated in the contracts.
To regularly report to relevant superiors on the progress of the works and the problem areas encountered especially in respect of defective, outstanding or non-conforming works or delayed works.
To keep all relevant forms, documents, correspondences and records in respect of the progress of works such as daily work record with encompasses labor force, machinery and weather records.
To attend all site meetings and technical meetings as directed and when necessary.
To implement any and all relevant policies, procedures and work constructions as so defined in the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Quality Management System.
Any and all other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior/management.
Job Requirement:
Diploma/Cert in Infrastructure from Technical Institution or above
At least 3 years working experience in related field
Initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation and reporting skills
Preferably with experiences in supervising high rise residential product or similar projects
Registered with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) as Inspector of Works (IOW)
